Pudsey Bear's Visit to Oakdale

Oakdale had a surprised visit from Pudsey Bear as the children took part in raising money for Children in Need.

Pupils were invited to attend school in non-uniform for a donation but with a spotty twist to stay with the Children in Need theme.

At lunchtime all pupils were invited to take part in a Pudsey wordsearch for a donation of 10p. All completed wordsearches were posted into year group boxes and then three random winners from each year group selected.  The winners won some of the prizes donated from our special guest.

All year groups took part in a Penny Trail by class. Pupils  layed their pennies down in the most interesting shape they could.

Other activities during the day included :

Design a new outfit for Pudsey

Create a Pudsey accessory e.g. Pudsey ears to wear, a tie, a badge etc.

Create a new Children in Need/ Pudsey logo or write a Pudsey poem.

We are extremely proud to say the children and staff raised a grand total of £724.28.
