This page has been created for parents/carers and children to help you access and use Google Classroom, our online learning platform for Years 3 - 6.

Go to classroom.google.com

When asked for a password type in the school provided password (Oakdale2022)

Click Next

If this is your first time using Google Classroom, you'll be asked to firstly read and accept Google's agreement, then to choose "I'm a Student"

You're in!

We would suggest that after accessing your child's classroom, you and your child familiarise yourself with the platform together. This is where teachers will set work and send a daily message within the class stream. There will be a range of 'assignments' posted and some of the tasks can be uploaded/completed online for the teacher to view.

Please regularly discuss online safety with your children. Our E-Safety page has lots of advice and there are a number of useful documents to read.

If you have problems logging in to Google Classroom please email: techsupport@oakdalejunior.co.uk.
If your problem relates to the work within Google Classroom please use the messaging facility in the first instance to contact your child's teacher. Although the teachers will be monitoring Google Classroom throughout the school day they may not be able to reply immediately as they are likely to be teaching in school.
