Houses

Every pupil at Oakdale belongs to a house.  Children are assigned to a house when they first arrive at Oakdale in Year 3, and they will remain a part of this house for their next four years in the school.  Our four houses are:

  • Haven
  • Parkstone
  • Baytor
  • Brownsea

 

Children can earn House Points for good behaviour, hard work or showing an extra special effort or initiative.   House Point totals are read out in assembly at the end of each week, and the House Cup is awarded at the end of each term to the House with the most points.
